Intro & important dates

Max Planck Society directors and independent research group leaders (W2 or W3)​ can participate in MP-AIX as advisors. You may participate in MP-AIX only, ELLIS only, or both at the same time.

  • Advisor registration runs September 1–30, ahead of the PhD application window.

  • Each PI may host at most two co-funded students per call; acting as a co-advisor carries no numerical limit.
